“Off the Beaten Path”

May 19 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Native Gardens

The Community Development Partnership and The Native Pant Garden Project in Eureka Springs have been awarded an Arkansas Department of Heritage grant to celebrate Heritage Month this May. This year’s theme is Off the Beaten Path to visit, discover, and appreciate the abundant natural resources of our area.

All events are free and open to the public with no prior registration needed.

On Saturday May 19 at 9 am arborist Patty Erwin will present Tree and Wildlife Habitat in Downtown Eureka Springs. Meeting point is The Native Plant Garden Project. The walk and talk will be in nearby Spring Reservations and green spaces.

These walks and talks involve some moderately easy hiking. Participants should wear comfortable shoes and bring their own water.

For more information, please contact Glenna Booth, 479 253-9703.
