4th of July Concert and Fireworks

Celebrate your Independence Day at the Eureka Springs 4th of July Concert and Fireworks! The event will be held in Basin Spring Park, with a 5pm concert featuring traditional bluegrass groups the Pam Setser Band headlining and Sylamore Special opening — and the fireworks will be shot off at Marble Flats starting at 9pm and last until about 10pm.

Pam Setser Band, featuring Pam Setser, along with Beci Coffey, Kent Coffey and Danny Yancey specialize in folk, country, gospel, and bluegrass music. Pam Setser is an award winning, multi-instrumentalist. Pam has played at many venues including Silver Dollar City, The Louisiana Hayride, Hee Haw, The Ralph Emery Show, Jay Leno, You Can Be A Star, not to mention playing in Washington, DC for President Clinton and won 3rd place in the National Wrangler Country Showdown at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. Pam has performed with Grandpa and Ramona Jones, The Whites, Joni Bishop, singer/actress Mare Winningham. Setser was part of the White River Hoedown, River Rats, Homemade Jam, and the radio show “At Home in the Country” which was broadcast on Public Radio. She performs regular at the Ozark Folk Center, Mellon’s Hole in the Wall Theater, and Mountain View Meeting place in Mountain View, as well as venues around the United States. Pam was voted in the top three for 2019 Female Vocalist at the Ozark Folk Center, and 2021 Arkansas Country Music Awards Americana Artist of the Year nominee. Pam performs as a solo artist, or with groups Pam Setser Band, Apple & Setser, Leatherwoods, Ozark Granny Chicks and Pamela G & Jackie B. Setser plays the Mountain Dulcimer, Guitar, Autoharp, spoons and sings.

Beci Coffey grew up with lots of music in her home. Beci has played in several bands over the years, one being the Buffalo City Ramblers. Beci has taught music in school, plays piano and bass. Having Beci in the band is always a plus, as her lead vocals and harmonies add much to the band’s dynamic. Kent Coffey has played music since he was a young boy. Kent has played in several bands over the years, The Coffey Brothers, The Tennessee Gentlemen and The Buffalo City Ramblers, just to name a few. Kent is one of the best guitar players around, in addition to his lead vocals and harmony adding strength to any band. Danny Yancey has been playing music since a young boy. He has played many years in Branson, Missouri and around Arkansas. Danny has played with several known artists, one being Billy Dean, which he played with at the Grand Ole Opry. Danny is an outstanding banjo and pedal steel player.

Sylamore Special formed early in 2021 to compete in the national KSMU Youth In Bluegrass Competition at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. The band’s members include Mary Parker (16), Gordon Parker (14), Turner Atwell (17), Mercy Grace (17), and LillyAnne McCool (18). All are from the Ozark Mountains of Mountain View, AR.
